Loudspeakers that you cannot hear, disappearing in the music, is the mission of Audio Physic. We are bringing music to life, making it physically tangible. With Audio Physic, music is not a simple reproduction. Every piano stroke, broom, violin stroke, or guitar riff is vividly clear and creates a live goose-bumps feeling. The living room becomes a concert hall, a rock stage, and a festival. How is that possible? The linchpin is our deep understanding of materials and structures and our years of experience.

In the course of our 37-year company history, we have written HiFi history several times, thanks to our developers Joachim Gerhard, known in the scene as “the Magician,” and our current chief developer Manfred Diestertich. From Avanti and Virgo, the first floor-standing loudspeakers on the market, to the Medea, launched in 1991. A legend in the HiFi scene. Frenetically celebrated by the trade press as a “resolution miracle” due to its touching music reproduction, the post-modern-designed Medea was a worldwide reference loudspeaker for years. Always searching for even more music, in 1993, the Cardeas loudspeaker showed unprecedented detail along with the entire frequency band. A new reference loudspeaker was born, again from Audio Physic.

We set market standards

We develop our loudspeaker Audio Physic in a long and intensive process. Each speaker goes through hundreds of listening tests. Each component is tested and continuously improved. And not only from an acoustic but also from an aesthetic point of view. With this dedication, not only Audio Physic reference models are created, but all our loudspeakers.
We are pioneers in researching and applying new materials and structures in loudspeaker development. And set market standards in the process. Always in search of an even more authentic sound, we notice every detail. We were the first company to use ceramic foam and showed that glass is not taboo. While many manufacturers now rely on dome tweeters, we have been working on further developing our aluminum cone tweeters for over 15 years. Our drivers are another essential component for an emotional, dynamic, and undistorted listening experience. The largely self-developed chassis are unparalleled in the world of HiFi.

Hand made in Germany

Till today every loudspeaker is still manufactured by hand in Brilon, Sauerland. This makes us one of the last loudspeaker manufacturers in Germany. Rooted in Brilon in the Sauerland region, many of our suppliers come from the surrounding area. Regionality and sustainability are part of our DNA.
