The Elite is an ultra high-performance low-output moving coil cartridge which incorporates all of Goldring's most time-honoured design features. These include advanced magnetic circuitry with neodymium magnet and an ultra-rigid Pocan® body. 

To ensure a record cartridge reproduces an accurate transcription of the record groove, the cartridge components must be rigidly mounted to the tone arm, whilst simultaneously allowing the tiniest movements of the diamond stylus to be transmitted, via the cantilever, to the sensing coils. The Legacy boasts an ultra low resonance magnesium metal body which is both very light and extremely strong.

Ethos is a truly high-end cartridge featuring a vital-shank, nude-diamond stylus. This polyhedral, line-contact profile was chosen because it has a very low tip-mass and a large contact area whilst being very narrow from front to back; even enabling the undistorted retrieval of ultrasonic frequencies in a recording.

This hand-built cartridge features an elliptical stylus; its shape enables it to more accurately trace the highest frequency record grooves giving it the advantage over ordinary spherical types. The lightweight shank also gives the stylus a lower tip mass than cheaper metal bonded types lending the cartridge an improved transient response.

This hand-built cartridge uses the acclaimed Gyger II nude diamond stylus. A fine-line elliptical type with a 6 µm small radius it gives smooth, extended highs, low distortion and reproduces a highly detailed and dynamic sound. Advanced diamond tip polishing ensures excellent tracking ability and reduces record wear.
